30+ Scholarships with September 2024 Deadlines

The following scholarships include opportunities for high school students, undergraduate, graduate school, and adult students.


1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents aged 18 and older who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is an essay-based scholarship that centers around the importance of incorporating financial literacy into one’s college career. The deadline is the last day of every month. Award of $2000.


ABSFE National Scholarship Program. This scholarship is for US citizen college students enrolled in funeral service or mortuary science programs. Awards are up to $2500. There are two application deadlines annually, March 1st and September 1st. 


Because College is Expensive Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, current undergraduate and graduate college students, and adults looking to head back to school. This is a scholarship sweepstakes. It is offered quarterly. Deadlines are March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. This award is $500. 


Cameron Impact Scholarship. This scholarship from the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation is open to high school seniors with a GPA of 3.7 or higher, who plan to have a significant impact on the world. This is not a need-based scholarship—award of $20,000 - $50,000 per year. An early deadline is May 22nd but the regular deadline is September 5th. 


Coca-Cola Scholars Program. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership and service in their communities. Multiple awards are offered. Awards are up to $20,000. Deadline is September 30th. 


DDSRank Dental Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school senior students, and undergraduate and graduate college students pursuing dental careers. The award is $500 and the deadline is September 20th. 


Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school 9th-12th grade students and undergraduate and graduate students of any age. Homeschooled students are also eligible to apply. The award is $1000 and the deadline is September 30th. 


Easterday Poetry Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school students. Must submit an unpublished poem written in the English language. The award is $500 and multiple awards Deadlines are quarterly, September 30th, December 31st, March 31st, and June 30th. 


Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2-year and 4-year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Deadlines are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Awards of $1000. 


Goostree Law Group Bright Futures Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students with demonstrated financial need and demonstrated leadership. Award is $2500. Deadline is September 23rd. 


GoSkills Scholarship. This scholarship is for female high school or college students who are pursuing any career field but have the goal of starting their own online business. This scholarship is not based on financial need, GPA, or demographic criteria. There are no age restrictions. This $2000 scholarship is biannual and the deadlines are September 15th and March 15th of each year. 


Harry B. Anderson Scholarship. This scholarship is open to female high school and undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a STEM career field. The award is $5000. The deadline is September 15th’


Innovation in Education Scholarship.  This scholarship is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $500 and repeats monthly. Open to students in the US and Canada. The deadline is the 20th of every month. 


Jacob Daniel Dumas Memorial Jewish Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and undergraduate students of the Jewish faith who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM fields. Award is $1000. The deadline is September 4th. 


JCCIA Scholarships. This scholarship is open to students of Italian heritage. Award is $5000. There are various scholarships. Deadlines are April 10th, April 30th, September 15th, or November 1st depending on the scholarship. 


Joanne Pransky Celebration of Women in Robotics. This scholarship is open to female high school or undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a future career in robotics. The award is $1000 and multiple scholarships are awarded. Deadline is September 1st. 


John J. Nelson Sr. Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students of African American descent who are currently enrolled in a U.S. not-for-profit CIDA- or NASAD-accredited interior design or NAAB-accredited architecture program. Must submit a 3-to-5-minute video articulating how the power of design has already impacted your life, and how you will proactively leverage your career in design to positively impact your future clients and community. Multiple awards are offered. Award is $10,000. Deadline is September 29th.


Margaret McNamara Education Grants. These educational grants are awarded to women who intend to work in or with a developing country to improve the lives of women or children. Applicants must be at least 25 years old. With awards of up to $15,000, recipients can pursue travel to Latin America, South Africa, and Canada. Deadlines for applications are September 15th or January 15th depending on travel plans. 


Meditation and Conversations Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing any degree. The award is $1000 and the deadline is September 30th. 


MyMozaic Scholarship. This $1,000 monthly scholarship is open to US citizens ages 13 and older. The deadline is the last day of every month. This is a scholarship sweepstakes or drawing. 


Opportunity for Change Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who have had a personal experience with addiction. Applicants may be pursuing any field of study. The award is $500 and the deadline is September 30th. 


Outstanding Citizen Scholarship. This scholarship is open to enrolled community college students, undergraduate, graduate, and law school students who have engaged in community service. Must have a GPA minimum of 3.0. Award is $1000. Deadline is September 30th. 


QuestBridge National College Match. This scholarship is for low-income high school seniors who have excelled academically, but feel that the nation’s best colleges are financially out of reach. Awards are up to $200,000+. Deadline is September 26th.. 


Sam’s Legacy Fighting to End Drunk Driving Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $1000. The deadline is September 1st.


SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Deadline is on a rolling basis (12 awarded per year). Award is $2,500. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions. 


Survey Junkie Brand Influencer Scholarship. This scholarship is open to all education levels. Award is $1000. The deadline is September 1st.


Texas Women Empowerment Scholarship. This scholarship is open to female high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate women students from Texas. Students are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they are going into fields such as pre-law, political science, public health, medicine, and other related fields. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher to apply. Multiple awards at $2,000. Deadline is September 15th.  


The Justice Solutions Group ‘Future Mentors’ Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited college or university for the semester they are applying to receive the scholarship. Applicants are not required to have a minimum GPA. Domestic, international, and undocumented students may apply. Must write an essay between 800 and 1500 words on mentorship. Award is $2,500. Deadline is September 30th.  


The May Firm Scholarship. This bi-annual scholarship has deadlines of September 15th and January 5th each year. This opportunity is for enrolled community college or university students. Award is $1000. Write about one traumatic experience you experienced in your life and how you overcame it. 


Too Cool for School Scholarship. Open to high school, 2-year, 4-year, and graduate college students. This is a scholarship sweepstakes. DACA students are also eligible. Award is $1000. Deadlines are quarterly: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th and December 31st. 


Trending Impact Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students with an interest in journalism, who have a GPA minimum of 2.0. Write an essay about a trending topic. The award is $500. The deadline is September 1st.
