35+ Scholarships with December 2024 Deadlines


The following scholarships include opportunities for elementary, and middle school students, high school students, undergraduate, graduate school, doctoral, and adult students.

1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents aged 18 and older who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is an essay-based scholarship that centers around the importance of incorporating financial literacy into one’s college career. The deadline is the last day of every month. Award of $2000.


5 Scholars Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school senior students from the Houston, TX, and Atlanta, GA areas with an interest in attending an HCBU institution. The award amount is not disclosed. Deadline is December 1st.


10 Things You Love About You. This scholarship from Unigo is open to students age 14 and older who are enrolled or will be enrolled in either a college, university, or trade school in the next 5 years. Create a top ten list of the reasons you should get a scholarship. Award is $1500. Deadline is December 31st.


Achieve Today Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current college students aged 18 and older who are willing to create a video about overcoming obstacles through the use of personal development principles. Award is $2000. Deadlines are August 31st and December 31st.


Americanism Essay Contest. This scholarship is open to students in grades 7-12, including home-schooled students. Sponsored by the Fleet Reserve Association, applicants must write an essay about Americanism and patriotism. Awards of up to $5000. Deadline is December 1st.


AvaCare Medical Scholarship. This scholarship is for high school seniors or enrolled current college students with a GPA minimum of 3.0, who are pursuing degrees in the medical field such as therapy, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, nursing, medicine or nutrition. All students meeting those criteria are welcome to apply however preference will be given to students with a physical disability. Award is $1000. Deadline is December 15th.


Barbara Lotze Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are pursuing a career path of becoming a high school physics teacher. Awards are up to $2000. Deadline is December 1st.


Because College is Expensive Scholarship.  This scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, current undergraduate and graduate college students, and adults looking to head back to school. This is a scholarship sweepstakes. It is offered quarterly. Deadlines are March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. This award is $500.


College Is Power Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students age 17 or older who are planning to attend or currently attending a full or part-time college program. Award is $1000. Deadline is December 31st.


Creative Masonry & Chimney LLC Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a career in construction, plumbing, carpentry, or other skilled trades. Award is $500. Deadline is December 1st.


Creative Safety Supply Scholarship. Open to students attending or planning to attend a college, university, or trade school during the upcoming term with a GPA of 3.0. This scholarship honors creative thinking. Award of $1000. Deadlines are December 15th and July 15th.


CT Chimney Repair Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who are pursuing careers in construction, plumbing, carpentry, or other skilled trades. Award is $500. Deadline is December 1st.


Dell Scholars Program. This scholarship is open to 11th & 12th-grade students who participate in a college readiness program with a GPA minimum of 2.4 and have demonstrated financial need. The award is $20,000 plus a package of additional support services. Deadline is December 1st.


Easterday Poetry Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school students. Must submit an unpublished poem written in the English language. The award is $500 and multiple awards Deadlines are quarterly, September 30th, December 31st, March 31st, and June 30th.


Emergency Educational Grants from Elks National Foundation. These $ 5,000 renewable opportunities are open to undergraduate students who are children of a disabled or deceased Elks member. Deadline is December 31st.


Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2-year and 4-year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Deadlines are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Awards of $1000.


Equitable Excellence Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school students in the US and Puerto Rico who plan to enroll full-time at two and four-year US institutions. Award is up to $20,000. Deadline is December 18th.

 

Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to currently enrolled college students (graduate students, law students, and/or high school seniors are NOT eligible) who are invited to apply. Freshmen entering Fall are eligible once they have received a student ID number. Students must write an online application and 800 – 2000 word essay on how they can capitalize on foreclosures, bankruptcy homes, and tax liens properties. Multiple awards were given up to $4,000. The deadline is December 15th.


HaPI Measurement Scholarship. This scholarship is from Behavioral Measurement Database Services. This is a $500 scholarship for graduate students pursuing health or psychosocial sciences such as psychology, counseling, sociology, social work, nursing, and public health. The deadline is December 15th.


Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $500 and repeats monthly. Open to students in the US and Canada. The deadline is the 20th of every month.


IVein Health and Wellness Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any current full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 is welcome to apply. Award is $2,500. Deadline is December 31st.


Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team Education Scholarships. Multiple scholarship categories are awarded within this opportunity. Award categories include enrolled high school, 2-year college, 4-year college, Nursing, Law School, Medical School, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy students. Awards are $1000. Deadline is December 1st.


LawnStarter Lawnpreneur Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, current 2-year, 4-year, and graduate college students who plan to start a lawn care business. All academic majors are welcome. Award is $1000. Deadlines for this scholarship are August 20th and December 31st.


Leaders Save Lives Scholarship. This scholarship is from the American Red Cross. This scholarship is open to high school and college students including trade schools or community colleges. Simply organize a blood drive within these time frames. Awards of up to $2500. Deadlines are: December 15th-January 15th, & June 1st- August 31st.


Lois Britt Memorial Pork Industry Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current undergraduate students in a 2-year or 4-year agricultural or swine program. This is for US citizens only. The award is $2500 and several scholarships are awarded. Deadline is December 10th.


Michael J. Latta EMS Scholarship Foundation. This scholarship is open to high school and college students wishing to become an EMT or paramedic. The award amount is not disclosed. Deadline is December 15th.


NJCPA High School Scholarship. This scholarship is open to New Jersey high school seniors who are interested in pursuing college programs in Accounting. Awards of up to $1500. The deadline is December 9th.

 

North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship. This scholarship is open to enrolled students or those who will be enrolling in undergraduate programs in logistics or an equivalent field. Award is $1000. Deadline is December 15th.


Pioneers of Flight Scholarship. This scholarship is open to sophomores and juniors in an undergraduate aviation program. Awards are $1000. Deadline is December 27th.


PixelPlex Bi-Annual Scholarship. This scholarship is a non-needs-based scholarship. It is open to enrolled or accepted students with plans to attend college, who are pursuing STEM fields, or business or economics. Deadlines are June 5th and December 5th. Award is $2000.


Ray Stoesser Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students who are interested in or are currently pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. In addition to the monetary award, the selected recipient will serve as a student ambassador for USRPA with an expectation of participating in at least two activities during the calendar year. Award is $5,000. Deadline is December 6th. 


Ron Brown Scholar Program. This scholarship is open to Black/African American high school seniors who are US citizens with financial need. The award is $40,000. Deadline is December 1st. 


SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Deadline is on a rolling basis (12 awarded per year). Award is $2,500. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions.


Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarships. These scholarships are open to Tennessee high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores or juniors with financial need. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and are pursuing business or STEM degrees. Awards are up to $15,000. Deadline is December 15th.


Science Ambassador Scholarship. This scholarship is for female high school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing STEM careers. Funded by Cards Against Humanity, this is a full tuition scholarship. Create a video that is 3 minutes in length or less about any STEM topic and upload it to YouTube. The purpose of the application is to teach others something in a short amount of time. Deadline is December 16th.


Scholarships 4 Moms. This scholarship is open to US citizens ages 18 and older who are mothers or expectant mothers. Applicants must be enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a college or university in the United States. The deadline is December 15th. Award is $10,000. This is a drawing or sweepstakes scholarship. 


The Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students who must be full-time graduate students with a course of study that has a relationship to state/local government finance, be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and provide a letter of recommendation. Award is $20,000. Deadline is December 30th.


Transgender First Scholarship. This scholarship is open to US citizens who identify as transgender and are planning to pursue or are currently pursuing a degree at a college or university—an award of $2500. The deadline is December 31st.


Wyland National Art Challenge. This scholarship is open to students in grades K-12. This scholarship has multiple awards. Awards of up to $500. Deadline is December 1st. ___________________________________________________________________________
