1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship. This is a monthly scholarship open to US residents aged 18 and older who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college degree program. This is an essay-based scholarship that centers around the importance of incorporating financial literacy into one’s college career. The deadline is the last day of every month. Award of $2000.
ABSFE National Scholarship Program. This scholarship is for US citizen college students enrolled in funeral service or mortuary science programs. Awards are up to $2500. There are two application deadlines annually, March 1st and September 1st.
ACS Scholars Program. This scholarship is open to Black/African-American, Latino/Hispanic, or, who are Indigenous (Native American high school seniors or undergraduate students pursuing a chemistry-related career and have a GPA of 3.0. Award of up to $5000. Deadline is March 1st.
AFA’s Teens for Alzheimer’s Awareness College Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are willing to write an essay describing the impact of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related illnesses. Awards of up to $5000. Deadline is March 1st.
AFDO Scholarship. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students in their 3rd year with a GPA of 3.0 who have a demonstrated desire to work in food and product safety. This opportunity is from the Association of Food and Drug Officials. Awards of $2500. Deadline is March 31st.
ALA Scholarships. These scholarships are from the American Library Association. They are open to students pursuing graduate-level programs in library and information studies. Awards are up to $5000. Deadline is March 1st.
Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school juniors interested in journalism who identify as a "free spirit". Award is $1000. Deadline is March 23rd.
America’s 911 Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is open to first responders or students with a parent who is a first responder. The first responder can be a paid or volunteer position. Multiple awards were given. Awards of $1000 Deadline is March 9th.
AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarship. This scholarship from the Atmospheric Meteorological Society is open to graduating high school seniors with a 3.0 GPA who plan to pursue an atmospheric sciences degree. The award is $2500 and is renewable for a 2nd year. Deadline is March 14th.
Arthritis Champions Scholarship. This scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate, graduate, and medical students who have been diagnosed with arthritis or another rheumatic disease. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have been involved with community service that supports the Arthritis Foundation. Award is up to $20,000. Deadline is March 1st.
ASHG Essay Contest. This scholarship is open to students in grades 9-12. This scholarship is from the American Society of Human Genetics. Write a genetics essay. This may be a great opportunity to use ready-to-go materials. This is also a non-fixed scholarship. Awards up to $1000. Deadline is March 5th.
Becca's Closet Involvement Scholarship (Non-Need-Based). This scholarship is open to graduating high school senior students with a GPA minimum of 2.0 who have been involved and engaged with a local chapter of Becca's Closet. Award amount is $1000. Deadline is March 31st.
Becca's Closet Drittel Family Scholarship (Non-Needs Based). This scholarship is open to South Florida-based graduating high school senior students with a GPA minimum of 2.0 who have been involved and engaged with a local chapter of Becca's Closet. Award amount is $1000. Deadline is March 31st.
Becca's Closet Spirit of Generosity Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school senior students with a GPA minimum of 2.0 with demonstrated financial need, who have made a significant contribution to their community through community service. The award amount varies. Deadline is March 31st.
Because College is Expensive Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, current undergraduate and graduate college students, and adults looking to head back to school. This is a scholarship sweepstakes. It is offered quarterly. Deadlines are March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st. This award is $500.
Bound to Stay Bound Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduate students who are pursuing a career path to work in library services for children. Award amount is $8000. Deadline is March 1st.
CMP Carolyn Hines Memorial Scholarship Program. This scholarship is from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. It is open to high school seniors, who are US citizens with a 3.0 minimum GPA and have demonstrated marksmanship competition experience. Applicants must be accepted to attend a college, university, or trade school leading to a diploma or certification. Multiple awards are offered. Awards of up to $5000. Deadline is March 31st.
Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students aged 14 and older who are from the US or US Territories. Create a greeting card using original art, photographs, or computer graphics. Award is $10,000. The recipient will receive a 1099 form to pay taxes on the award. Deadline is March 3rd.
Doodle for Google. This is a scholarship open to students in grades K-12 from the US and US territories. Homeschool students are also eligible. This scholarship has a $55,000 award and an additional $50,000 tech package that is given to the student’s school or non-profit. Parents, non-profit leaders, and teachers can submit applications. The focus of this scholarship is creativity. Deadline expected in March - TBD.
Easterday Poetry Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school students. Must submit an unpublished poem written in the English language. The award is $500 and multiple awards Deadlines are quarterly, September 30th, December 31st, March 31st, and June 30th.
Education First Scholarships. These scholarships are open to high school seniors from participating high schools in Austin, Denver, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, San Diego, and Seattle. Awards of $5000. Deadline expected in March - TBD.
EFWA Scholarships. These scholarships are open to female undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students pursuing accounting degrees. Multiple awards are offered up to $2000. Deadline is March 30th.
Employment BOOST Academic Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and 2-year and 4-year college students in the US with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any major. 1 scholarship will be given to a student pursuing any major and a 2nd scholarship will be given to a student pursuing business or STEM fields. Deadlines are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Awards of $1000.
Foundation 649 Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors or transferring community college Asian American or Pacific Islander students who will be attending a college or university in the Fall. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need and have been involved in AAPI causes. The award is up to $4000. Deadline is March 1st.
Gensler Rising Black Designers Scholarship. This scholarship is open to Black or African-American students enrolled in an architecture program. Awards of up to $60,000. Deadline is March 1st.
GoSkills Scholarship. This scholarship is for female high school or college students who are pursuing any career field but have the goal of starting their own online business. This scholarship is not based on financial need, GPA, or demographic criteria. There are no age restrictions. This $2000 scholarship is biannual and the deadlines are September 15th and March 15th of each year.
Gordon Hay Scholarship. This scholarship is open to North Carolina high school seniors and undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a non-performance theatrical degree. Award is $5000. The deadline is March 25th.
Greenhouse Scholars Program. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from NC, NY, CO, IL and GA who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and demonstrated financial need. Award amount varies. Recipients receive support for up to 5 years. Deadline is March 17th.
Innovation in Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school and college students who have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others with a GPA minimum of 3.0. The award is $500 and repeats monthly. Open to students in the US and Canada. The deadline is the 20th of every month.
James Madison Fellowship. This scholarship is open to graduate-level students who desire to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary level. Awards of up to $24,000. The deadline is March 8th
Mitchell Institute Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from Maine who have had involvement in their communities and have demonstrated financial need. Awards are up to $10,000. Deadline is March 1st.
Music Forward Scholarships. These scholarships are open to full-time undergraduate students pursuing careers in the music industry. There are multiple scholarships available and awards are available up to $10,000. Deadline expected in March - TBD.
NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program. These opportunities are offered by The National Institutes of Health. This scholarship is open to enrolled or accepted for enrollment (high school seniors) full-time students at an accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must have exceptional financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.3. Applicants must be committed to a career in biomedical, behavioral, or social science health-related research—awards of up to $80,000 ($20K each year for 4 years). The deadline is March 26th.
PAF Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students aged 25 and younger who are pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees and have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer or chronic disease. This scholarship is from the Patient Advocate Foundation. Award of $3000. Deadline is March 7th.
Quell Foundation Bridge The Gap Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current junior and senior undergraduate students and graduate students who are pursuing the fields of psychology, social work, or other related fields serving mental health conditions. The award amount is not disclosed. Deadline is March 14th.
Quell Foundation Fighter Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, and current undergraduate and graduate students who are being treated for a diagnosed mental health condition. The award amount is not disclosed. Deadline is March 14th.
Quell Foundation First Responder Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship is open to current high school seniors, and undergraduate and graduate students who have experienced a loss of a first responder parent in the line of duty or to suicide. Quell Foundation Survivor Scholarship. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, and undergraduate and graduate students who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver due to suicide. The award amount is not disclosed. The deadline is March 14th.
SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time at a college or university, who are pursuing STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Deadline is on a rolling basis (12 awarded per year). Award is $2,500. This scholarship is open to students worldwide and there are no age restrictions.
Science Without Borders Challenge. This scholarship is open to students ages 11-19. This opportunity inspires students to promote public awareness of the need to preserve, protect, and restore the world’s oceans and aquatic resources through art. Awards up to $500. Deadline is March 3rd. This is an international competition open to students worldwide.
Stafford R. Ultsch Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship is open to Texas high school seniors who are pursuing a career in mental health and are either a suicide survivor or have been affected by suicide. The award is $1500 and the deadline is March 10th.
Tall Club International Scholarship. This scholarship is open to high school seniors under the age of 21 who meet specific height requirements. Male applicants must be at least 6’2” tall and female applicants must be at least 5’10” tall. Awards of $1000. Deadline is March 1st.
Texas Big Game Award Scholarships. These scholarships are open to Texas high school seniors and undergraduate students with a valid state of Texas hunting license who are pursuing agriculture or natural resource-related majors. The mission of the scholarship awards is to promote sound habitat and wildlife management. Multiple scholarships are offered. Awards of up to $3000.
